About The Mile Climb

The Mile Climb is an annual student-run fundraiser event in which participants attempt to climb one vertical mile - 132 routes at Earth Treks Rockville - to raise money for charity. Participants ask friends and family members to pledge a certain amount of money per climb they complete or to make a flat donation in support of the athlete and the cause. This year's event will be held on Tuesday, June 19th, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Since 2014, we have raised over $21,800 for worthy organizations, such as Escalando Fronteras and Charity: Water.

Thank you for your continued support.

The Against Malaria Foundation

Given the immense positive feedback and confidence in our decision to benefit Against Malaria Foundation last year, we are raising funds for AMF again this year. This organization is exceptional at improving the lives of those less fortunate, and we are confident that all money raised will be spent well. They distribute mosquito bed nets in Africa, which prevent Malaria.

"The Against Malaria Foundation (AMF) is one of our top-rated charities and we feel that it offers donors an outstanding opportunity to accomplish good with their donations."
